Associate, Trading Operations (Crypto) - New York

The successful candidate will be involved with a wide variety of day-to-day tasks in support of the firm's growing Crypto trading operation in addition to playing a key role in tactical and strategic projects.

The successful candidate will bring the following:
-A minimum of 3+ years' experience in a Trading Assistant, Trading Support, Middle Office or Operations role at a bank, custodian, fund, prime broker or trading firm;
-Sound Derivatives product knowledge required (open to underlying product knowledge in Commodities, Credit, Crypto, Equities, FX, Futures/Options, Rates);
-Deep knowledge of the end-to-end trade lifecycle;
-Strong technical toolkit, including Excel, Python, SQL, VBA;
-Highly collaborative; able to build relationships internally with finance, operations, quants, tech, trading, and externally with counterparties, vendors and exchanges;
-Outstanding communication skills; ability to respond rapidly, and analytically, to situations as they arise;
-Hands-on 'day job' experience in the Digital Asset (Blockchain/Crypto/DeFi/Web3.0) space is a plus, but not required. However, passion for the space is a must!;
-A strong academic pedigree from a top school; Masters preferred;
-Professional designation, ie: CFA, preferred.
