Who we are
The Equities Risk Technology Team globally supports the Equities Front Office Risk Management systems, providing the business with capabilities to manage intra-day and overnight risk and PnL of positions.
The organization is undertaking a complete revamp of the platform, in order to support business expansion plans, to close the gap to competition. Extensive analysis of challenging business problems and transparent, efficient project management of a complex technical eco-system are vital to the success of the overall strategy.

We're looking for an Equity Derivatives SME with experience of risk management. As part of the team, you will:
  • Help guide and co-ordinate the various streams of work associated with the migration to the new risk management platform
  • Be involved in building capabilities in the new strategic platform and
  • Executing and delivering business and regulatory projects.

  • The successful candidate will be part of the Equities technology team building solutions for the business.
What will you do?
  • This is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
  • Consult with business clients to determine requirements and partner with multiple management teams and other units to meet organizational objectives
  • Provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions

What you will bring
  • Ideally we are looking for candidates with Equity Derivatives and risk management experience to help guide and co-ordinate the various streams of work associated with the migration to the new risk management platform.
  • Well organized, a strong communicator and familiar with delivering in an agile environment
  • Hands-on business analysis skills with strong product knowledge (Ideally equity derivatives but other asset classes also considered)
  • Proven track record of working on large, multi-country technology solutions within investment banking.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver technology solutions across an Investment Bank trading business.
