AVP Product Specialist

The Issuer Services business delivers bespoke capital market transaction services to a wide variety of clients including banks, corporations, lawyers and governments around the world. Specific transaction services are delivered in connection with Corporate Debt, Restructuring, Structured Finance, Repackaging's, Loans, Project Finance and Depositary Receipts.

Responsibilities:

• Transaction Management in the delivery of Loan Facility Agent and Security Agent services for corporate lending, structured finance and project finance transactions through the review, negotiation and execution of relevant documentation for new transactions together with amendments of existing transactions
• Responsible for an allocated portfolio of Loan and Project Finance transactions originating from various Citi deal teams
• Help to drive the build out of the Issuer Services' expansion of Facility Agent services for Structured Finance transactions by being a facility agent subject matter expert
• Coordinate with appointed deal counsel as appropriate
• Act as a focal point for allocated clients. Build and develop client relationships.
• Ensure accurate and timely set up and maintenance of new transactions on Front Office systems including ATIS and ensure accurate records are maintained throughout the life of the transaction
• Ensure appropriate client/account management coverage including annual reviews and KYC renewals.
• Participate in deal governance committee as appropriate.
• Ensure billing/legal invoicing is current and accurate.
• Liaise with the loans middle office for Facility Agent deal handovers and other Citi operations team as appropriate for different roles.
• Ensure accurate creation, verification and actioning of diary dates for future events derived from relevant documentation.
• Ensure accurate opening, verification, management and closure as appropriate of cash and custody accounts on and offshore.
• Provide support to Sales on new business prospects, as required.
• Provide support to the Loan Product manager in relation to product development, as required.
• Maintain and contribute to audit and control activities.
• Any other duties as required.

Skills / Experience:

• Detailed knowledge of the Issuer Corporate Trust product and Facility Agent / Security Agent market
• Understanding of transaction documentation, deal execution and / or legal experience essential.
• 3 years + experience of Facility Agent / Security Agent documentation
• Good client skills
• Strong transaction management / execution skills.
• Proven inter-personal/communication skills.
• Strong administrative skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Appreciation of process and control environment
• Ability to prioritise.
• Strong PC skills (MS Word, Excel)

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
