Manager/Associate Director (Strategic Investments)

As part of the group investment team, you will assist with the strategic review of existing businesses, assessment of business case, and execution of corporate actions and mergers and acquisitions transactions. You will proactively monitor and manage the company's investment portfolio to achieve the company's strategic objectives and commercial returns.

You will support the deal team in transaction activities including but not limited to strategy review, transaction structuring, feasibility studies & pricing, due diligence, negotiation with counter-parties on key terms, legal documentation review, financing and regulatory and internal approvals. You will liaise with both external consultants and internal departments as part of supporting the transaction activities to enhance value, optimize exit options, manage legal positions/obligations and ensure tax efficiencies.

You will conduct company research and valuation, compile financial data, develop financial models, perform financial and operational analysis and prepare presentation materials for discussions/presentation to senior management & Board as well as provide timely capital market developments (M&A, IPO) updates in the relevant industry.

Requirements

You possess a Degree in Accountancy / Finance / Business Administration or equivalent from a reputable education institution and have at least 8 years of prior experience in REITs transactions, M&A, corporate transaction and/or corporate finance related work.

You are highly numerical with a broad knowledge of capital market, direct real estate and ability to run complex financial models. You have a sense of maturity and able to connect the dots and interact with various senior stakeholders.
