Job Purpose
Key Responsibilities
Requirements
- In addition to executing clients' equities trading, the Trader should work closely with institutional sales, and develop good relationships with counterparties and clients. This person should also participate in non-deal roadshows and investment activities to enhance the company's reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Works closely with institutional sales to execute client's orders, ensure good and timely trade executions to clients
- Analyze real-time market information to make effective trading proposals
- Responsible for developing relationships with counterparties and clients, providing market information to clients in a timely manner
- Coordinate internally on client needs and make recommendations on investment strategies
- Participate in non-deal roadshows and investment activities to enhance the company's reputation
- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Test) for equities trading system enhancement, provide solutions in user perspectives
Requirements
- Degree holder in Finance or related discipline(s);
- Minimum 5 years of Trading experience (HK equities, with China Stock Connect trading experience, will be an advantage)
- Highly motivated, organized and well-planned with a strong desire to succeed
- Understanding of applicable regulatory issues and general regulatory landscape
- Able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
- Tactful in handling clients' needs and providing solutions in multi-perspectives
- Good relationships with broker house for business development
- Persistence and eager to win deals
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
