The Role: Market Intelligence Transition Management Lead

The Location: North America

The Team: The Market Intelligence (MI) Integration Management team is responsible for maximizing the Market Intelligence division's investments. The team values thoughtful and disciplined analysis to quickly drive the best outcomes for our people and customers. The Impact: This role is critical to the integration of people, processes and technology across Market Intelligence. The successful individual will be highly collaborative, detail oriented and a great communicator as they work with teams across Market Intelligence to understand latest status of the programs that realize the value of the division's investment.

What's in it for you: For the right candidate, this role offers high visibility across the Markit Intelligence division and development of executive communication skills. They will work closely with the Head of Integration Management for Market Intelligence to prepare updates for the Value Capture Office (VCO) and Integration Management Office (IMO), as well as executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage consolidated project plans and submissions
    • Monitor upcoming start and completion dates to avoid unnecessary delays and facilitate IMO updates with workstream owners
    • Coordinate with workstream contacts to refine plans to reflect priorities and comply with IMO requirements
    • Maintain team focus on key milestones and dependencies
  • Ensure relevant integration risks across MI functions and business lines are logged, escalated and mitigated; keep RAID log updated
  • Maintain MI integration management tool (i.e., SmartSheet) to coordinate ongoing integration activities and updates
  • Prepare materials for and facilitate monthly Integration Working Group, Integration SteerCo and other MI and IMO stakeholders
  • Facilitate cross-functional workstream and business line coordination where required
  • Cascade and manage inputs for Central IMO requests to MI functions and business lines (i.e., integration plan submission requirements and key project updates)
What We're Looking For:
  • B.A. in Business or Communications
  • 7-10 years previous project or program experience strongly preferred, with demonstrated ability to manage execution plans including managing risks and dependencies
  • Excellent organization skills and demonstrated attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation experience
  • Critical thinking
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • SmartSheet experience preferred

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $88,000 to $140,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
