Your Role and Impact
The CIO team is accountable for the investment quality and consistency across all EII portfolios globally. It is responsible for setting direction, establishing policy and making investment decisions to ensure we deliver quality investment performance across all market cycles.
We closely work with our Portfolio Management, Trading, Risk and Quantitative Analysis and Performance and Attribution teams to understand ex-ante risks and ex-post performance drivers.
We're looking for an individual who is passionate about making a difference and has the know-how to make it happen - both as a Students of the Market as well as a Students of Technology!

Responsibilities
- Drive the continued evolution of the performance & risk governance structure
- Analyze portfolio data and performance to identify overall trends across the global book, as well as specific portfolios where enhancements may be warranted
- Work with Portfolio management teams to identify best practices and scaled implementations
- Ability to work independently with a passion for building something new
- Contribute positively to our culture supporting diversity, equity and inclusion
Qualifications
- An ability to explain complex ideas in simple but impactful terms and proven ability to use effective communication to influence outcomes
- A passion for applying quantitative techniques to real-world problems and being a student of the financial markets
- An understanding of the fundamental principles of risk management including risk estimation methodologies, stress testing, and attribution
- A love of models, an understanding of their limitations and a desire to improve them
- A strong interest for financial markets and technology
- Knowledge of both equities and the indexing ecosystem
- High levels of self-motivation and a strong work-ethic
- The desire to make an impact
- A passion for continued learning
- 5+Years of investment experience
- FRM or CFA designation or other industry certifications (or are working towards one) is a plus
