Job Responsibilities
  • Report to the Head of Quantitative Investment & Research
  • Assist in various practical projects and quantitative/analytical tasks, including but not limited to extract/clean financial data, SQL database management, general financial modeling, backtesting, optimization, data mining, web scraping, machine learning technology and factor analysis
  • Prepare necessary material for model rebalance, client meeting and internal weekly/monthly equity meeting

Job Requirements
  • Master Degree or above holder in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or Applied Quantitative Science
  • 0-4 years of relevant working experience
  • Strong programming skill is essential and technical proficiency in at least one of below languages: Python, Matlab, R; C++, Java and C# is a plus
  • Familiar with SQL and proficiency in data extraction and data cleaning, related project/working experience preferred
  • Knowledge of various financial databases, including but not limited to Factset, Bloomberg, Wind etc.
  • Strong interest to financial market and investment, knowledge of machine learning, web-scrapping and other data mining technology
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Adaptive to fast-pace working environment, good time management and able to work multi-task
