Job Description
Excellent opportunity to join a well-established MNC, Our client provide investment services and retirement expertise, Looking for Manager - Financial Control - 12 months contract for a start

Key Responsibilities For The Role Are As Follows

• Completion of month-end tasks including preparing journals, balance sheet reconciliations, preparation and review of transfer pricing arrangements and corporate tax calculations for Australian entities.
• Assist with the preparation of the Group Consolidation reporting.
• Liaising with auditors, managing the audit activities.
• Working closely with Treasury to manage operational cash flows and documentation requirements.
• Communicating with senior stakeholders (including within Tax, Management Accounting and Business Finance teams) in performing analytical reviews in order to understand expense/ revenue trends.
• Maintain a high level of risk awareness and develop a sound control environment to enable risk mitigation.
• Identifying, designing, and enabling process improvement initiatives for increased efficiency.

Experience And Skills Required

• Qualified Accountant with 4+ years post qualification experience with Accounting / Audit / Assurance background.
• IFRS knowledge is required.
• Experience in consolidation accounting would be preferrable.
• Strong Microsoft Excel alongside good IT skills particularly Power BI, Word & Power Point
• Knowledge of Oracle would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, experience of financial control & regulatory returns would be an advantage.
