Market Risk

DB Market Risk Technology platforms utilise large-scale distributed computing capability and Big Data technologies to process over 600 billion scenario points a day for Market & Credit Risk metrics with dynamic aggregation capability across the raw scenarios to generate metrics such as VAR, Expected Potential Exposure and Portfolio Stress Scenario Metrics. New innovations provide self-service analytics and dashboarding capability to our clients through the form of a Python toolkit servicing over 500 risk and analytics users across the Bank.
As a Big Data Developer (m/f/x) you will be responsible for the features development and delivering them to production.

Your key responsibilities
  • Analysis of problems and business requests;
  • Production of technical specifications and estimation of work
  • Development of solutions and delivery into production
  • Peer reviews of work with other team members
  • SL3/4 support of existing application
Your skills and experiences
  • Strong background in Scala/Python Spark development, with Java Service development experience
  • Background of using YARN/Hive/HDFS technologies
  • CI/CD experience, writing tests, working with static analysis tools (i.e. Sonar)
  • SQL and database development (Oracle, plans to migrate to PostgreSQL)
  • Confident, articulate, enthusiastic and able to operate independently
