Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Head of Technology Operations will be responsible for supporting the development of strategic plans, defining strategic priorities, and leading strategic initiatives to support the organizations objectives and goals across all countries in the Asia Pacific Region. This role works in partnership with the APAC Regional Technology Leadership team and country stakeholders to improve resiliency, stability, systems, and processes to increase effectiveness and scalability across all countries.

The ability to manage a wide variety of stakeholders to enable the execution of strategic plans and initiatives is vital. To be successful in this role you will have strong technical judgment, business acumen, effective communication skills, and the ability to deliver on commitments and own initiatives end to end.

We are looking for a thought leader to drive our strategic goals, translating them into executable plans, and drive implementation to success through partnership. The ideal candidate thrives in driving transformation through process improvement, champions effective strategic change, is a key orchestrater and can influence through building trusted partnerships.

In this role you will be accountable to:
  • Manage short and long-term strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize work with clear alignment to CIO's strategic priorities
  • Drive consensus and realignment to ensure the execution of such priorities
  • Deliver feasible projects/initiatives with a thorough understanding of organizational structures and needs, to optimize the processes and enhance overall functioning efficiency
  • Conduct detailed analysis to support the development of organizational strategy
  • Influence stakeholders that cross multiple functionalities for process development, implementation, and support
  • Drive continuous improvement of standard operating cadences and core processes
  • Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement
  • Take ownership of department-wide initiatives to improve processes, and technology
  • Supports the development of a strong culture across the organization
  • Prepare key presentations and targeted stakeholder communication with strong storytelling for various senior audiences
  • Maintain appropriate Outsourcing SLAs, Management Information, Agreements and Oversight in line with relevant obligations
  • Represent Technology at governance and management forums including Executive, Management, Operating, Risk and Compliance committees as required

To be successful the candidate will need to have:
  • Proven track record of providing thought leadership in the technology area, and applying technology to solve complex problems
  • Experience in driving and delivering a broad range of improvement or transformational initiatives
  • Able to build productive relationships with users across the organization
  • Have a broad range of leadership and expertise across IT operations and service delivery
  • Have executive presence and communication skills with the ability to translate detailed technical problems/solutions into easy-to-understand business terms
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical and organizational skills underpinned by a sense of accountability

Experience & Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of related experience required with the last 5-7 years functional leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Experienced team leader and team player with the ability to work independently to organize, manage and complete projects within tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to communicate (verbal and written) with different levels of seniority as well as able to communicate technical issues in business language within a global organization
  • Confidence to respectfully challenge stakeholders
  • Ability to quickly adopt to quick changes
  • A self-motivator who has solid track record of local and regional delivery in a global organization
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry
