We are looking for a lead analyst to support the design and implementation of our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy in the APAC region. The successful candidate will be part of team of global DEI professionals, collaborating with senior leaders, our Employee Resource Groups and DEI Councils to deliver our strategic priorities.

You will be responsible for:
  • Supporting senior DEI leaders to design and deliver regional implementation of enterprise DEI strategy
  • Supporting and/or leading a wide array of activities associated with DEI project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to internal client specifications
  • Analysing data and providing reports reflecting status against diversity goals
  • Working with senior team members to support DEI governance bodies, regional leadership team and regional Employee Resource Groups, ensuring activities and programs align with regional and enterprise strategy and priorities, leveraging DEI resources and Subject Matter Experts for optimal impact
  • Onboarding and managing regional, external alliances that support our DEI strategic priorities
  • Working with communications to identify and amplify opportunities to promote and embed DEI
  • Identifying and supporting opportunities to promote the BNY Mellon brand in the external market place and partner with clients and peers to share best practice

Stakeholder Management:
  • Internal - Maintains regular contact with internal clients and coordinates and reports on project progress and accomplishments.
  • Supports and contributes to the integration of DEI into business and client initiatives
  • External - Contributes to vendor and client relations to ensure that service expectations are developed and met.

Analytics:
  • Create timely DEI data reports that inform goal setting and tracking.
  • Assists with analysis of DEI initiative performance reporting, drafting of scorecards and identification of trends

Communication Skills:
  • Supports internal DEI communications, shares the Employee Resource Groups schedule of events and updates/maintains the relevant DEI intranet pages. Effectively communicates with internal management and external clients.
  • Identifies appropriate regional DEI awards to participate in and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to prepare the award submission.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
  • 5+ years of total work experience preferred. Prior experience in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is preferred or Human Resources experience in talent management, organizational culture or as a business partner conducting DEI activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
