Position Description:
The Role: Project and Migrations Lead - The Channels organization mission is to provide linked and structured data, analytics, and solutions to clients through modern distribution channels including data feeds, APIs, and managed cloud platforms, enabling clients to bring our data directly into their internal systems to make informed, data-driven investment and business decisions.
As the Project and Migrations Lead within the Channels Business Unit, you will be responsible for leading and managing key initiatives, client related migrations and programs that span across our delivery channels, businesses, and locations. You will ensure these efforts result in and maintain a positive client experience by being the voice of the customer, keeping them at the center of everything you do. performing analysis, and tracking and reporting on project milestones.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate strategic programs and reporting for the Channels business unit
  • Plan and monitor multi-faceted projects, providing the insight and guidance needed to relevant teams to complete on schedule
  • Prepare detailed project plans including project milestones, workstreams & activities.
  • Lead others in the ongoing execution of key priorities and operational practices in projects
  • Monitor project status and schedules, providing input where necessary
  • Collaborate with product and technology teams. Leverage technical skills to drive key project areas
  • Own Audit and InfoSec remediation planning and coordination as the evangelist for the Channels team
  • Build/foster relationships with stakeholders
Business Knowledge:
  • A proven leader with expertise running client-impacting projects, programs and operations groups
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on expertise in defining enterprise data strategies, and successfully leading product management functions
  • Strong organizational management, business case development, and able to work across business teams to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge and experience working with semi-structured and/or unstructured data and data repositories used for data mining and innovation analysis
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of product quality and data management
  • Strong written and verbal communications with a strong aptitude to present thoughts and ideas to the leadership
  • Effective stakeholder management & conflict resolution skills with Business acumen.
Requirements:
  • BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 5 years of product management, project management, technology or related experience including enterprise-wide data initiatives
  • Proven ability to work with and motivate global teams in a diverse and complex organization to deliver quality results on time
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum or SAFe process (Experience as a product owner/Scrum Master of a SCRUM team a plus
  • Demonstrable experience resolving complex operational problems requiring strategic and innovative solutions
  • Experience developing and/or supporting financial market data services products from concept to commercialization
  • Experience understanding and gathering client product requirements
  • Experience in data integration and product management is preferred
  • Exceptional ability to work in an international multi-cultural environment utilizing effective influencing, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Public speaking skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels within an organization
  • A highly motivated self-starter; ability to work independently and creatively as well as within a team
About S&P Global

Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $125k to $150k. Base salary ranges are flexible based on experience and may vary by geographic location.
