Marketing
Hang Seng's Marketing function is responsible for formulating marketing strategies and implementing marketing initiatives to reinforce the brand of Hang Seng Bank, drive acquisition and usage of the Bank's product and services, strengthen customer loyalty to build long term relationships, and provide internal business units with marketing support to deliver a comprehensive suite of products and services offered by the Bank.
We are currently seeking high caliber professional to join us asHead of Marketing Planning & Governance.
Principal responsibilities
  • Steer the strategic oversight and planning of Marketing Division's activities, including development and implementation of MKG's overall marketing plan to ensure that the Division is fully aligned to business priorities and key revenue drivers
  • Deploying the Marketing planning framework consistently across the function and developing a range of tools to measure the effectiveness of Marketing activities
  • Having oversight of the Marketing budget, providing a clear framework, timetable and process for planning, both annually and part of the on-going analysis of the plan to ensure that all areas adopt a solid and robust approach to cost control and management
  • Set consistent Return on Marketing Investment/ Objective (ROMI/ ROMO) and other metrics to be implemented across the Marketing Function in order to ladder up to overall effectiveness metrics
  • Ensuring that all Marketing activities adhere to HSBC processes and procedures relating to the mitigation of financial and operational risk, and are compliant with local regulations and codes of practice
  • Driving Marketing governance by providing guidance and support to all Marketing teams in line with relevant procedures and brand strategy/guidelines to sustain and grow our leading brand performance
  • Managing the governance framework, organisational structure and key functional control documentation
  • Facilitating the development of process and operational strategies for the function, and measurement of their implementation progress
  • Enabling organisational alignment towards critical business objectives and leading the organisation's implementation of strategic process and operational transformational activities
  • Supporting strategic function needs while improving the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, programs and infrastructure
Requirements
  • University degree in Banking, Finance, Law and Corporate Administration, Marketing, or related discipline
  • Seasoned financial services professional with minimum 10 years experience in planning and governance related fields
  • Good communication and analytical skills, experience in project management and banking industry with ability to perform budget planning and monitoring
  • Strong self-motivation and customer orientation, with the ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong leadership/ communication/ negotiation skills
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
