About The Department
Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management provides highly customized financial advice, investment solutions and brokerage services to individuals, families and foundations. As Morgan Stanley's premier service for individuals and families with significant means, we specialize in providing our clients with custom-tailored financial solutions and a level of sophistication and access to expertise and investments typically reserved for large corporations, financial institutions and governments.

Within Private Wealth Management the Account Management Team (AMT) has four distinct functions: AML Advisory, Client Account Opening, Client Account Maintenance and Projects. This position lies within the Project Team who are responsible for providing Management Information ("MI") to AMT functions, driving AMT process improvements, supporting the rollout of PWM Change the Bank projects, overseeing AMT remediation projects and ensuring effective governance of data provided for regulatory reporting.

About the Role
This role will support the Head of AMT Project with aligning Australia AMT policies, processes and procedures with PWM Asia AMT. The role will support the rollout of PWM Change the Bank Projects and procedure enhancements, AMT process improvements, and provide management information on core AMT tasks. The role will also support the scoping and enhancement of PWM Asia's Account Maintenance and Credit Application platforms, including support of a key business growth initiative.

Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have Big 4, Consulting or Project Management Office experience within the financial services industry. Compliance / AML onboarding knowledge or experience at another top-tier Bank is also an advantage.
• Develop procedures for Australia AMT.
• Assist with defining local requirements to facilitate platform enhancements for key AMT processes.
• Assist with streamlining workflow processes and enhancing controls, work with stakeholders to conduct UAT and deliver training to support process rollout.
• Support Head of Australia AMT with enhancing regulatory reviews and processes that require Sales engagement and client outreach.
• Support process tracking, analysis, reporting and insights for AMT tasks and related projects.
• Support Head of Australia AMT with implementing audit and compliance testing team action plans.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and implement data remediation actions as required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in PWM Australia and PWM Asia on AMT processes and project co-ordination.
• Maintain project plans and governance.
