Position Overview This role is for a new Quality Assurance team being put in place within Depositary Oversight Department. The team will be responsible for ensuring that all fiduciary and Depositary Oversight processes and procedures are effectively operating and adhered to.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that all fiduciary and Depositary Oversight processes and procedures are effectively operating and adhered to.
  • Devising work programmes and schedules.
  • To ensure timely and proper completion of tasks.
  • On-going development and maintenance of the controls, policies and procedures
  • Perform independent review of any new processes or material amendments to a current process that form part of the Depositary fiduciary reviews.
  • Co-ordination of timing and testing of audit reviews by external parties and internal parties.
  • Communication of any findings to the Depositary Oversight teams
  • Reporting to Senior Management on an ongoing basis with formal reporting delivered to Senior Management.
  • Attending board meetings
  • Resolving workflow problems or issues

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Level of Education/
  • Degree qualified preferable

Skills and Experience
  • Sound understanding of the regulatory framework for Funds (UCITS/AIFs/Non-UCITS)
  • Relevant industry experience (not necessarily within a Depositary role)
  • Experience in Oversight or an Audit role a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to allocate workloads appropriately to ensure requirements are met within agreed deadlines
  • Ability to motivate and encourage staff to work at optimum levels
  • Ability to recognise and target areas for increased efficiencies
