VP Markets Client Strategy

As a Barclays Markets Client Strategist, your role will support the Client with relevant analytics to track progress and enforce accountability in the sales organization. You will work with product Client Strategy to define and execute the Markets CS activities. While Developing robust client management processes, Central Data Strategy and Client Analytics. Producing Business Strategy presentations, Monthly Performance packs and ad-hoc customized analysis for Client ExCo.

What will you be doing?

• Producing & Analysing 'Markets Performance' MI for Senior Management
• Working on key Strategic Initiatives for Markets business
• Developing tools and technology to support Sales & Trading, drive efficiencies and improve productivity
• Maintaining close connectivity and coordination with Product Client Strategy peers, ensure coordination on joint initiatives
• Analysing and supporting the delivery of Coalition data, Sales budgets and various performance metrics
• Supporting Deputy Head of Markets, Global Head of SRM, Head of Financing and Sales Heads and their teams with the running of various client initiatives
• Establishing trusted advisor's status with Senior colleagues across Sales, Trading and Research Management
• Interpreting trends and problem-solve using large sets of data

What we're looking for:

• Proven analytical skills and skills with advanced ability using MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Highly organised, proactive and diligent with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication - ability to communicate in a compelling, concise and precise manner
• Ability to comfortably analyse large datasets and client intelligence, formulate conclusions and make recommendations to Management.

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience in Client Strategy, Strategy Consulting / Corporate Strategy at an Investment Bank or Business Management
• Knowledge of Markets Division at an Investment Bank
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37- story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness centre and state of the art LED signage on the façade of the building.
