Examples range from the €1bn A9 Road PPP in Amsterdam, a 3 million connection fibre network in Spain to Waste to Energy plants in the UK. As part of this team, you will combine typical investment banking tasks with principal investing, project finance advisory, infrastructure development, great responsibility and client interaction on Europe's preeminent infrastructure and project finance transactions. We are seeking candidates from a project finance background with strong legal skill for documentation and negotiations. The role is based in London with frequent travel to the Benelux.

As part of the Project and Principal team, you will:
  • Lead or support financial advisory work for external and internal clients
  • Raise, negotiate and close complex project finance structures including financial documentation (term sheets, funding agreements...etc)
  • Preparation and negotiation of bid documentation and risk allocation (including commercial contracts, such as shareholder agreements, concession agreements, D&B and O&M subcontracts) with industrial partners and governments
  • Reviewing project documentation and due diligence materials to identify potential risks and value drivers
  • Engaging and lead due diligence advisors (legal, technical, tax & accounting)
  • Prepare internal credit papers for equity and debt approvals

To be successful in this role, you will have 1-5 years Project Finance/concession experience in a comparable organisation with detailed knowledge of project finance markets, principles of financial analysis and valuation and knowledge of project finance modelling. In addition, you will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Law or Engineering, and excellent pre-university academic results. It is essential that you are fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English with strong general communication and relationship building skills.

This is a key role within the team and the successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, professional, committed and proactive in his/her approach.
