Responsibilities
Requirements
- Evaluate derivatives and financing transactions, for instance TRS and options, and monitor the corresponding counterparty credit risk exposure
- Perform counterparty and credit risk analysis;
- Review ISDA confirmations covering plain vanilla and structured OTC derivative transactions and those of other asset classes;
- Daily monitoring of counterparty credit exposures and derivatives risk figures against approved limits and parameters;
- Analyze and approve counterparty credit risks and related transactions;
- Conduct regular counterparty credit reviews on detecting credit deteriorations;
- Review ISDA/CSA/GMRA terms, and monitoring counterparty risk in repo and derivatives transactions;
- Recommend on appropriate trading limits and guidelines;
- Validation of risk functions and models used in systems;
- Assist in formulating relevant risk policies
Requirements
- Degree holder in Finance, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering or other appropriate discipline;
- Minimum 4 years relevant risk management experiences in investment bank, securities or asset management firms;
- Solid knowledge on counterparty credit risk assessment and derivatives risk measures (e.g. option greeks);
- Familiar with industry standard Master Agreements (ISDA, GMRA), netting, collateral, close-out policies etc;
- Good understanding of financial derivatives, especially on legal documentation;
- FRM preferred;
- Team player with willingness to communicate and share within the team;
- Good problem solving ability and detail minded;
- Strong proficiency of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Skill to communicate with other stakeholders
