Global Finance is integral to HSBC's purpose and strategy, playing a valued role in managing costs and deploying capital in the most effective way. Our global team of finance professionals partner with the business to provide trusted insights and forward looking analysis; accuracy; efficiency and control to frame and influence business decisions.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior ALCM Manager.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Identify, assess and monitor capital risks in line with internal and external requirements
  • Forward looking planning, forecasting and modelling of the capital position and projections of HBAP
  • Oversight of subsidiary capital plans and capital flows across HBAP
  • Capital risk management, including capital adequacy and stress testing
  • Supporting the delivery of legal entity and global business capital efficiency objectives and initiatives

Requirements
  • University degree and/or professional qualification (e.g.: CFA, FRM) in the field of finance or risk management
  • Experience and familiarisation with Capital Management or broader Financial Risk Management preferred
  • Understanding of regulatory capital, RWA or planning process preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate sound commercial acumen and risk management principles
  • Excellent analytical skills with an ability to deliver actionable insight
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders with competing priorities
  • Very good organisational skills
