Trader and Investment Support Associate

A multinational asset manager is looking for a Trader cum Analyst, Investment Support Associate. 

Key Responsibilities

• Management all aspects of trading, from order generations, execution, etc, largely in equities for the AIF & trade advice for Off Shore portfolios
• Liaisoning with back office, fund support for ensuring smooth settlement of investment contracts
• Building and maintaining relationship with brokers, key market intermediaries and software services providers
• Data Analytics and quantitative & technical analysis on asset class, market data & generate reports for the PM, research team
• Generate key reports on funds investments for compliance and regulatory requirements

Key Internal/External Relationships

• Internal:  Offshore & AIF FM, Equity Team. Sales, Compliance, Product, & Marketing. External:. Brokers, Service Providers & Market intermediaries

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Over 3-5 years experience as India equity trader or dealer in the BUY Side or Sell Side Organization
• Excellent software skill, Excel, Power Point as well as data base such as Bloomberg, Cogencis, Capitalline Ole, CMIE, MFI
• Bachelor’s degree with a post graduate degree i.e. MBA, CFA, etc. an added advantage
• NISM VA 
• Very strong presentation and communication skills - written as well as verbal
