We're looking for a talented and versatile Marketing Content Writer to deliver communications and campaigns to our growing customer base. You'll support our marketing strategy, while collaborating with our design, research and product teams, to make sure our content is engaging, on-brand, consistent and customer-focussed. You're a storyteller, editor and critical thinker who will quickly learn about our audience, and can create compelling content that informs and delights.

We're looking for a talented and versatile Marketing Content Writer to deliver communications and campaigns to our growing customer base. You'll support our marketing strategy, while collaborating with our design, research and product teams, to make sure our content is engaging, on-brand, consistent and customer-focussed. You're a storyteller, editor and critical thinker who will quickly learn about our audience, and can create compelling content that informs and delights.
Responsibilities
- Write engaging, strategic content - across channels like social media, email, notifications, web and advertising
- Foster relationships in-house and with our external agencies
- Work with our product team to make sure our marketing and UX journeys align
- Help prioritise and plan workloads
- Work with brand to help lead design thinking
- Follow processes and proactively seek areas for improvement
- Solve problems by communicating across teams (we call them squads and tribes) to find innovative solutions
- Support other copywriters in the content team, with everything from peer reviewing to ideation sessions
- Advocate for readability, usability and creativity
Requirements
- Your portfolio speaks for itself. You've earned your stripes and have the projects to prove it.
- You're confident using Confluence. Experience using Jira and Figma is a bonus.
- You've worked in financial services or a similar environment and know how important content governance is.
- You understand why creating consistent experiences matters, and the role of content in shaping a proposition.
- You're highly curious, and value the importance of using research and data to make informed decisions. If something isn't working, you adapt and improve.
- You can flex to meet the day's requirements and confidently multi-task.
- You're process-driven and aren't afraid to challenge.
- You're available to come into our Bank Street office 2 days a week.
Your background
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Human Centered Design or other area(s) of relevant focus
- Extensive Marketing Writing experience
- Used to working within brand style guidelines to make sure content is consistent
- Experience of user testing methods (like customer interviews and A/B testing) is a bonus
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
