Major Duties

  • Manage investment activities of portfolios for high net worth individuals, families and personal trusts.
  • Develop customized investment strategies and construct portfolios to meet client objectives consistent with the firm’s investment strategy.
  • Meet with clients on a regular basis and report on portfolio progress and present recommendations as appropriate.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on economic and market conditions consistent with the firm’s investment outlook.
  • Maintain a high client service level by working closely with Relationship Managers/Trust Officers as a team to meet client needs.
  • Support and serve on standing investment committees responsible for investment strategy as appropriate.
  • Direct participation in the development of new investment business with business development and administrative officers.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of a broad range of investments across global equities, fixed income, and alternatives.
  • Client-centered focus with demonstrated experience in effective client relationship management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively in meeting client needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, personal initiative, and a high degree of professionalism.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in wealth or investment management working with high net worth clients, with 5-7 + years of total experience in financial services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration preferred.
  • CFA or CFP designation, or progress toward, preferred but not required.
