about the job
- Service a portfolio of investment managers, hedge funds, investment banks, venture capital firms, capital market intermediaries on matters ranging from licensing and regulatory setup to ongoing regulatory advice across multi-jurisdictional frameworks
- Act as the subject matter expert on local MAS regulations and capital market licensing requirements (CMSL), providing technical expertise on complex issues around MAS regulations, ongoing regulatory issues and MAS reporting
- Build and develop long-term client relationships, acting as the point of contact for engagement delivery while executing deliverables
- You will be part of a broader global team and gain exposure to global client relationships
skills and experience required
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 10 years of regulatory compliance experience within the consulting and/or professional services industry, the regulator, or in-house compliance within the asset management industry, or lawyer with good understanding of MAS rules and regulations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal capabilities
- Proven ability to manage business and client relationships
- Strong technical ability to commercialise rules and regulations
