Python/JavaScript Quantitative Developer

Within this role there are a range of responsibilities including completely redeveloping a state-of-the-art cloud based analytics system, utilised by the trading team and more specifically the portfolio managers.

You will be required to contribute to all aspects of the development lifecycle including the architecture, working on the data flows and interfaces and implementing the system in a timely manner. You will be working closely with both the PM's and the researchers and you will need to have some understanding/interest of the financial world to do so.

Requirements:

• At least a Bachelors with a high GPA in a STEM subject
• Experience with Python and/or JavaScript to a level where you understand how to write great quality code to a high standard.
• Prior experience of working with a large-scale system with a large code base, ideally where requirements are gathered from quantitative personnel.
• An interest or experience in cloud technologies.
• Finance experience is not compulsory however it is beneficial.
