Position Description:

The firm is seeking an experienced advanced wealth management and investment specialist to help develop, promote and sustain PIMCO's Advisor Education value-add program that drives engagement and fuels loyalty within the firm's U.S. GWM business. The specialist will partner closely with PIMCO's U.S. GWM business (e.g. Field Sales, Strategic Accounts, Sales Strategy, etc.) to develop highly differentiated program content geared toward financial intermediaries.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced financial professional who possesses strong communication and presentation skills with demonstrated experience in delivering educational value-added content in the areas of practice management, wealth planning and investment management to financial intermediaries.

Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Understand financial advisor needs, build and expand program with sales teams
  • Identify, research and develop thought leadership and educational content on practice management, wealth planning and investment consulting
  • Help drive the business forward by partnering with experienced content subject-matter expert to build programs advisors can leverage for business growth, investment insight and to deepen partnership with PIMCO
  • Build impactful programs to deliver against business goals
  • Effective relationship-building
  • Partner closely with subject-matter experts in PIMCO's U.S. GWM business to further develop and expand industry-leading Advisor Education value added program
  • Participate in internal and external communications to educate, drive adoption and facilitate engagement
  • Support value-added presentations and programs at industry events
  • The successful candidate will exhibit a broad-ranging knowledge of market-relevant, finance-related topics and will work with both internal and external partners to develop an industry-leading program
  • Create and maintain timely and impactful educational programs/content for advisors and investors as well as training materials for internal Sales teams
  • Partner with Strategic Accounts team to implement Advisor Education value add content to partner firms
  • Conduct webinars and provide advisor consultations in person, via phone
  • Support key client relationships via investor sessions when appropriate
  • Support AM training via divisional calls, PIMCASTS, Brainshark presentations, AM consults


Position Requirements:

  • 10+ years of financial service industry
  • Proven experience developing successful practice management, financial planning and investment consulting educational content
  • Knowledge of financial advisor and RIA landscape, and industry events
  • Ability to travel up to 50% representing PIMCO Advisor Education at industry events, national and regional firm conferences, and advisor branch sessions
  • Strong communication skills and effective educator via in-person presentation delivery, live webinar format, recorded video, written materials, etc.
  • Certifications (CFP, CIMA, CPWA, CFA) a plus
