The Wealth Management Strategic Services (WMSS) group within MSWM is responsible for transformational platform strategies that provide better tools for our Financial Advisors, support staff, and our clients. The Strategic Client Services (SCS) team within WMSS is recruiting a strategic thinker who has a passion for uncovering insights from data and executing projects to continuously improve business.
As a Product Manager you will be tasked with supporting the Client onboarding platform to deliver enhanced systems/processes to our field services teams. You will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement to streamline the account opening process and will also manage external requests from various business partners. You will be expected to lead day to day business activities including agile ceremonies, requirements gathering and stakeholder management.VP

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead projects and direct partners across MSWM throughout various project life cycles to ensure alignment and cohesiveness.
- Gather and create business requirements/user stories through feedback sessions with various field and home office partners.
- Identify cross-impacts, dependencies and impediments to progress and ensure actionable next steps are addressed.
- Communicate updates on project timelines, KPIs and reporting of key milestones to external stakeholders and WMSS leadership team.
- Provide active leadership, business analysis and subject matter expertise to the broader WM organization as it relates to platform and policy changes.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience required
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry and/or Wealth Management or Product Management
- Must be a highly motivated independent leader with a strong work ethic
- In-depth understanding of financial services industry, wealth management operations and branch processes
- Experience and knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
- Must be able to effectively communicate in both business and technical contexts including managing relationships with other teams
- Excellent analytical, process-oriented, problem-solving and issue-resolution skills
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Ability to work independently, problem solve, and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Ability to manage ambiguity and bring focus with recommendations on solving tactical and strategic challenges
- Strong interpersonal skills - freely develops networks, builds consensus, and prioritizes effectively
Desired Skills / Qualifications:
- Prior Support Staff experience in a wealth management branch/ advisory a plus
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
- Experience with JIRA preferred
