Our client is a global industry leading fixed income investment management business, who are looking to hire an ambitious and technical analyst into their investment team.
This a hugely exciting opportunity for a highly numerate candidate to join one industry's most highly respected investment teams, and gain exposure to senior team members. The successful candidate will be able to develop investment analysis and financial modelling skills with exposure across high yield and leveraged loan markets.
The role will assist senior team members with fundamental credit research analysis on Utilities and Infrastructure companies across the Investment Grade Spectrum as well monitoring of existing portfolio positions. This would utilise in-depth qualitative analysis and financial modelling.
The role would provide structured training along with support to complete CFA qualifications.

Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in mathematics or economics related field (Minimum of 2:1)
- Masters degree (preferred but not essential)
- Internship or 1-2 years in asset management
- Previous credit research experience
- Experience with utilities and infrastructure sectors
- Ideally some internship experience within financial services
- Desire to work within in investment team and more specifically fixed income
- Highly numerate and strong interest in investments and financial markets
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, ability to work confidently with spreadsheets and models
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
