Position Description:

Role Overview
The asset management industry is undergoing significant change necessitating (i) enablement of new businesses and revenue, (ii) improvement of efficiency and (iii) reduction of business risk. The Operations Transformation team's mission is to use digital technology, robust workflows, and the collective talent of our teams to support the business at the speed and scale to effectively deliver superior investment returns, solutions, and service to our clients. Our team works closely with technology and global operations to digitally transform operational processes in advance of increasing business demands and complexity while concurrently increasing efficiency, reducing operational risk, optimizing people resources, and reallocating resources to value-add services.

We are seeking an exceptional Business Process Transformation Associate to contribute to various initiatives of broad and diverse scope with considerable impact on our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately identify and document current state processes and design of the target state, working cross-functionally with impacted stakeholders.

In this role, you will drive and inspire change and collaborate with all levels of the organization in a meaningful, impactful way. This position may be based in Austin, TX or Newport Beach, CA. Relocation assistance will be provided.

Role/Responsibilities
  • Partner with teams to discover opportunities for change and transformation across business, operations, and technology
  • Document business processes, process mapping, flow (e.g., Visio, Lucid Charts), and complete user journey mapping (current) and facilitate the design of a future state
  • Identify and evaluate inefficiencies across the end-to-end workflows for process improvement
  • Understand digital technology fundamentals, including Agile Methodology, Design Thinking, and Software Development Life Cycle
  • Educate and mentor team members on Agile, Lean, and Design Thinking principles, providing them with tools for implementing the process in their work
  • Develop and implement change management programs for digitalization and emerging technology initiatives
  • Facilitate workstreams, determine the scope, and manage the implementation of digitalization initiatives
  • Deliver in Agile project management and software development methodology to develop solutions
  • Enhance employee and client experience by improving usability, accessibility, and connectivity of solutions
  • Contribute to inclusion and diversity initiatives, including culture building, employee resource groups, and various PIMCO-wide initiatives


Position Requirements:

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 - 7 years of experience using Agile, Lean, and Design Thinking methodologies in small and large-scale programs
  • Process improvement activities, from identification to implementation to change management
  • Business Process Modeling and Notation 2.0 Standard (BPMN)
  • Project implementations/Project management
  • JIRA, Smart Sheet, and Confluence Wiki
  • Building budgets / ROI models to support transformation activities
  • Exposure to large organizational transformations is preferred
