Key Responsibilities:
  • Management and reporting on existing real estate portfolio:
  • Assist with the monitoring and performance reporting of the funds real estate holdings for both direct and indirect property assets
  • Perform a wide range of investment modelling activities
  • Interaction with external investment managers and partners and assist with the preparation of internal investment reports
  • Preparation and maintenance of financial models in relation to the funds exposure to real estate
  • Underwriting of new investment opportunities:
  • Assist with the origination and execution of investment opportunities
  • Review, analyse and track potential real estate opportunities across different domestic and global markets working with the wider team to shortlist potential opportunities
  • Maintain views on various markets by performing market research, peer group analyses and other data analytics
  • Assist with due diligence and underwriting of real estate investment opportunities for both direct and indirect assets, located UK and overseas
  • Assist in the preparation of documents for and the presentation of new real estate opportunities to the Investment Committee

Background & Experience:
  • Possess an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject such as real estate, finance, economics or similar
  • Two- four years or more of financial services or investment/asset management related experience
  • Experience with financial modelling/ strong excel capabilities;
  • Good understanding of financial markets
  • Ability to compile and summarise keys points from a large volume of documents
  • Strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills and good attention to detail
  • Bright, energetic and hardworking with well-developed interpersonal skills - a 'rounded' individual
  • Strong academic background with a relevant financial industry skills
