Who we are looking for?

A candidate that can demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of relevant work processes alongside a broad understanding of activities required to provide effective management of Transfer Agency. You will be expected manage day to day tasks pertinent to the department's activities with a major focus on change management, resource planning, people management and development, client relationship management, process improvement and risk reduction.

Candidate should have a background in Financial Services, with a broad understanding of Transfer Agency and/or Fund administration services.

You will be part of a busy team responsible for providing a high-quality service to a large global client. The role offers opportunity to learn the full scope of services within the Transfer Agency department while fostering an environment of customer service excellence.

Candidate should have highly developed business writing and analytical skills, with a track record in investigating complex issues and providing concise reports or verbal updates to Clients, investors and internal stakeholders.

This role is ideal for an individual looking for an opportunity to move from an operational role into a client facing position. A positive 'can do' attitude is necessary, eager to support colleagues and to contribute to the success of your team, department and wider organisation.

What you will be responsible for

Relationship Management:
  • Act as a support to dedicated service managers for a key strategic client of State Street Ireland
  • Organise & participate in Service Meetings & conference calls. Chair meetings (where appropriate)
  • Attend and participate in Client Event Calls representing the TA Operational Teams. Coordinate these events which include Fund Launches and high priority events with internal TA teams.
  • Pass on customer feedback to relevant parties and escalate where appropriate
  • Coordinate relevant TA teams for Client visits
  • Ensure minutes are issued within an agreed timeframe where assigned

Change Management:
  • Responsible for timely acknowledgement of change requests
  • Assist with raising Business Change Requests on behalf of Client
  • Work with Change Management to maintain Projects Log

Operational Controls:
  • Responsible for accurate maintenance and management of Operational Log
  • Ensure (weekly) operational issue conference calls take place & attend (weekly) Client conference call.
  • Participate in resolving any escalating service issues
  • Notify relevant CRM & Ops team member of amendments required to procedures / SLA / KPIs for new functionality / technology
  • Day-to-day liaison with all operational areas to ensure service is delivered within SLA and quality is measured within KPIs
  • Monitor service against KPIs and dispatch monthly SLA & KPI reports within agreed service levels
  • Monitor weekly KPI positions & relevant service level, validate and assist in rectifying any issues


Education & Preferred Qualifications

These skills will help you succeed in this role:
  • Knowledge of the Transfer Agency business and Regulatory background to Funds Industry would be of benefit.
  • Strong MS office skills are required
  • Excellent service delivery ethos and client advocacy focus
  • Customer service/account management skills would be an advantage.
  • Attention to detail and concern for quality with strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to proactively work under own initiative and as part of a team
  • Typically, candidate will have minimum 2-3 years industry experience
  • Business related degree preferable (but not essential)
