Job Purpose Statement
As a Data Scientist, you will develop insights using a wide range of data sources to directly help the research, portfolio construction and trading processes across a range of different investment teams and share responsibility for the implementation and maintenance of these processes. This will be done under the guidance of senior members of the team.

- Collaborate with Research Analysts, Portfolio Managers, Traders and Business Leaders to generate data insights that support investment decisions
- Apply quantitative methods to design and develop analytical models and data visualization tools
- Provide analytical expertise and thought leadership that contributes to business decisions
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to iterate on data science initiatives
Key Capabilities
- Demonstrated quantitative problem-solving and analytical modeling skills
- Strong statistical programming experience, including proficiency in data analysis languages (Python, R, SQL)
- Experience creating analytics and models that influence business decisions
- Comfort with software engineering practices, including writing maintainable code, debugging and version control
- Familiarity with cloud computing and its application to data science
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity
