Fund Risk Management Support Analyst, Luxembourg

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversights tasks:
• Oversight of the day to day activity of Fund Risk Management Support KL team, ensuring that all services sold to Management Companies and Self Managed SICAV's or delivered to Trustee & Depositary Services, are rendered in an accurate and timely manner.
• Oversight of Risk reporting generated by KL team (4Cs report, Liquidity risk, Leverage report for UCITS and AIF, Collateral risk report).
• Act as an expert on Risk Management topics:
Ø Market Risk (Commitment approach)
Ø Counterparty Risk
Ø Concentration Risk
Ø Liquidity Risk
Ø Leverage Monitoring
Ø Investment Compliance Monitoring (including Eligibility analysis)
• Validation of systems (ICED, LDC, BICMAN, Client Database) inputs
• Responsible for the MCA/Manual check identification, request and validation
• Identification & Escalation of issues & problems to the Management
• Answer regulator and auditor requests link to the area under responsibility
• Management of assigned TDS relationship

2002/77 Active Breach notification:
• Responsible for validation of notification related to the Circular CSSF 2002/77 (drafted by FRMS KL)
• Follow up with the clients and the auditors

Investment Compliance control implementation :
• Accountable for Funds prospectus analysis, system implementation & client requests management: analysis of the applicable documents, system implementation and update of Funds/Rules/codifications in the system
• Ensure effective & accurate resolution of internal/external enquiries
• Provide support in terms of expertise to daily activities
• Act as Client Representative for activities under responsibilities
• Accountable for the update and maintenance of each supportive documents and systems (such as Set-up Follow-up file...)

AUTHORITIES, IMPACT, RISK
General
• Responsible for the quality of Fund Risk Management Support activities delivered to clients and respect of the deadlines. This function has an impact on multiple locations and clients having funds distributed in Continental Europe
• Specific risks related to the daily Fund Risk Management Support activity
• Audit companies/local supervisory bodies
• OTC services
• Service Assurance Management
• Trustee and Depositary services
• Good Technical & financial knowledge of risk management environment, investment strategies & regulatory framework (UCITS Directives, ESMA guidelines, European national laws applicable to UCIs) & best market practices applicable in continental Europe
• Good knowledge of financial products & derivatives instruments
• Expertise in financial instrument eligibility analysis (target funds, structured products, index, etc.)
• Good knowledge of cross location operations, systems & IT environment, Compliant to Rules & Procedures
• Mandatory English Language (Written / Oral) Proficiency
• German/Italian/French language is considered as an advantage
• Superior/Relevant Financial Education desirable
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office (word/excel, access is an advantage)
