We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Finance Business Partner to join our team in Manchester.

What will you be doing?

Provide effective finance business partnering to Director Portfolio Management Fund 0 + Fund 1 and their teams. Covering collections, revenues from purchased portfolios and the associated costs to collect across all of the Group's geographies.

Provide insight on what is driving performance and challenge where performance is off track/plan and challenge the Portfolio Management Team to mitigate any performance gaps and what actions can be taken to further improve/drive performance.

Responsible for of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and analysis to Directors of Portfolio Management and the ExCom on the performance of the balance sheet business.

Report on collections performance, Balance Sheet Business P&Ls and key KPIs ensuring that reporting is consistent and insightful. Reporting includes the analysis of collections and the P&L actual vs budget / ERC / reforecast and to monitor progress of key portfolio management actions and their impact in the P&L / collections figures.

Responsible for running / building the annual budget and reforecasting process for Balance Sheet Business Investment Business.

Responsible for dealing with the provision of ad hoc analysis required by the Director of FP&A, Chief Commercial Officer, Director or Portfolio Management and ExCom.

Is this you?
  • A solid background in a similar Finance Business Partnering role
  • Experience gained within financial services
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills - up to senior level
  • Knowledge/experience of financial instruments and loan book accounting
  • Advanced Excel and strong IT skills
  • Ability to problem solve and work autonomously
  • Proven ability to improve current processes and drive performance
