Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management provides highly customized and differentiated financing, investment and wealth planning solutions to ultra-high net worth entrepreneurs, corporates and asset owners in Asia. Leveraging on the Firm's global institutional securities, and wealth management footprint, and its renowned investment banking, capital markets and investment management capabilities, we build holistic relationship with clients and provide them with sophisticated advice, service and products.
Investment Management Services (IMS) is responsible for fee-based activity for PWM Asia, including product sourcing and due diligence, investment committee, product launch coordination, product documentation, marketing and trade processing, after-sales support and product monitoring. Fee-based products include mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity and real estate funds, as well as discretionary mandates.
Based in Hong Kong, IMS is seeking a highly self-motivated professional to drive sales and distribution activity.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Maintain a high level of ongoing product knowledge relating to managed products (e.g. mutual funds and alternative investments) and the broader managed product industry
• Maintain asset management network; assess and originate appropriate fund ideas for the PWM Asia distribution channel
• Collaborate with Product Due Diligence team to deliver product education, launch and introductions across the PWM platform
• Collaborate closely with PWM's sales representatives, investment consultants and internal stakeholders on fund ideas and sales campaigns
• Prepare marketing material including presentations, proposals, ideas and flyers
• Drive IMS product sales, distribution and marketing efforts in the region, with the objective of increasing product penetration and recurring revenues
• Participate in marketing initiatives including conferences, sales meetings, business trips and other client-focused activities (for ED: Drive marketing initiatives including conferences, sales meetings, business trips and other client-focused activities)
• For ED: Contribute to strategic development initiatives on behalf of IMS with PWM Management and Firm
• For ED: Manage a team of 1-2
