Position Summary

Corporate Access is providing "access" via the medium of meetings, conference calls, events and roadshows to listed corporates, government agencies, unlisted companies and more to our Institutional Investor client base.

In this role you will deliver specialised access through the forum of meetings, conferences, briefings, Non-Deal Roadshow's (NDR's), investor roadshows and major forums to Australian corporates and domestic/international institutional investors. This hands-on role will require the incumbent to take ownership of day-to-day coordination and management, as well as achieving individual deliverables and targets.

This role includes management of major and senior events and meetings as well as responsibility for being an internal partner to some of the firms most senior managers. You will work closely with Citi's Research, Investment Banking, Equity and Fixed Income Sales teams with the responsibility for delivering differentiated corporate access for both corporate's and institutional clients. You will foster strong relationships with our clients, who are the heads of investor relations for Australia's largest listed companies, as well as our institutional clients.

The successful candidate for this position should demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

Key Accountabilities:
  • Establish strong and lasting relationships with our clients on the institutional investor client base as well as investor relations heads of Australia's largest listed companies.
  • Identifying market trends, sector themes and specific factors relevant to a sector/company to deliver events which aligns with that theme/sector
  • Origination of new and topical ideas for investor events
  • Develop corporate access ideas/targets for conferences and events in various regions
  • Coordinate complex, senior-level internal/external meetings (non-deal roadshows, corporate days)
  • Lead management meetings in specific sectors
  • Deliver events both physically and virtually via video call platforms
  • Work with various global corporates and connecting them with buyside investors
  • Client base liaison (including corporate management/CEO's CFO's and Investor Relations Heads, institutional investors, hedge funds, mutual funds)
  • Direct contact with Citi clients, corporates and investors on meeting details/ideas
  • Work closely with Sales on idea generation on non-deal roadshow and conferences
  • Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships
  • Executing and managing investor roadshows both domestically and offshore
  • Ability to drive all corporate access offerings: conferences, non-deal roadshows, investor roadshows, tour schedules, site-visits, corporate lunches and bespoke events
  • Executing on large scale conferences with the assistance of Citi's Global Events Management team
  • Preparation of corporate pitchbooks for NDRs and conferences
  • Conference scheduling of investor meetings
  • Data entry of events into internal calendar
  • Execution of unlisted briefings for Research Analysts
  • Other ad-hoc projects and tasks for event logistics as assigned


Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to firm policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative requirements

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills


Business Knowledge
  • 5 Years + relevant experience in the Financial Industry
  • Degree or business diploma qualified (strong preference)
  • Understanding of global markets and working within a large financial company
  • Understanding of global investor client base
  • Understanding of Australian listed corporate companies (ASX listed stocks)
  • Understanding of institutional investors (fund managers)
