About this role

Fixed Income Strategy and Business Management in EII

Job Purpose/Background:

The successful candidate will join the ETF and Index Investment (EII) Global Product Executive Team, reporting to the Head of Global FI Strategy and Operations. The individual will work closely with EII's regional business teams, including the US, EMEA, and APAC. The candidate will leverage relationships among other iShares/BlackRock partners across the organization to successfully drive our strategic priorities around Fixed Income. Additionally, the candidate will be asked to pull and analyze information to bolster business presentations for senior level engagements.

This important role will give the successful candidate an opportunity to be involved in shaping and evolving indexed fixed income strategy with many different teams across the organization (product strategy, sales, portfolio managers, marketing, index providers, Sustainability, amongst others).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with regional stakeholders to pull together data and analysis for business reviews to assess how we are executing against our strategy, communicate progress, and identify areas in need of additional support and resources
  • Help build global business reporting, presentations and communications
  • Key contributor to progress global and regional product priorities (e.g., facilitate global connectivity across regional product suites, enhance index provider strategy)
  • Conduct economic analysis across different scenarios incorporating insights from multiple stakeholders across BlackRock
  • Draft communications and updates to senior level stakeholders around upcoming meetings and strategic priorities


Qualifications
  • University Degree
  • 3-5 years driving strategy, business management or project management in a complex environment
  • Basic understanding of fixed income preferred
  • Proven track record of problem-solving and project management/organization
  • Ability to analyze large quantities of data
  • Economic modeling and analysis experience (Excel-based) preferred
  • Ability to convey key messages / strong writing skills
  • Experience in financial industry / asset management / data management

  • Attention to detail and ability to pick up & digest new information quickly
  • Good communication skills, including written and presentation skills
  • Highly organized and able to adhere to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and manage a variety of stakeholders
  • Proven track record operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Sense of initiative and enthusiasm to join a key growth segment of the BlackRock's business
  • Self-motivated and dedicated to excellence
