Job Title: Lead Manager, Middle Office

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for overseeing quality of outsourced functions in accordance with SLD. Handles client engagement. Provides recovery support for offshore functions. Supports client meetings. Looks at service improvement opportunity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serves as subject matter expert and conducts research to gather information on the most complex, multi-faceted transactions and provides answers to complex inquiries that have been escalated.
  • Responsible for accurate daily position keeping & P&L in Credit portfolio's.
  • Responsible for service improvement, technology engagement and new business engagement.
  • Maintenance and reporting of security positions and cash in the appropriate portfolios on Advent Geneva of the assigned clients.
  • Review, research, and clear daily cash and position reconciliation items.
  • Manages relationships with assigned clients and ensures all questions are answered and issues with position keeping and portfolio accounting are resolved. Monitor and oversee team KPI's/ performance for the team for daily, weekly and monthly reporting periods.
  • Owns service delivery to clients in line with SLD's, attending service reviews as required.
  • Manages processes to ensure that records are maintained in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provides training to outsourced teams around new products.
  • Communicates with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure needs are being addressed by the Middle Office function and provides input to Unit Managers.
  • Provides/reviews MIS/KRI/KPIs as required.
  • Assist with operational projects and mandates related to process improvement, documentation, automation, etc

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
