About our client
Our client is a very successful and highly active mid-market PE firm looking to grow their Munich Investment team with an additional Associate.

The firm is an established pan-European company founded in 2005, with the Munich office being one of the key pillars of their success. Having recently closed theie newest fund at €800m (together with a significant cotinuation fund in parallel), they are focusing their investments largely on sectors such as industrials, consumer/retail, healthcare, media and leisure. The team has been extremely active and managed to deploy their last fund in less than 24 months so the new Associate can expect a high degree of deal activity from day one.
In light of this level of deal activity and its latest fund the firm wishes to hire an additional team member to join their Munich office. The role incorporates all aspects of the deal cycle, from origination to execution, with active portfolio involvement. The firm seeks to hire with a long-term perspective and will provide you with excellent career development opportunities.
What the job involves

• Deal analysis, modelling and management of due diligence workstreams
• Close involvement in identifying, evaluating and executing investment opportunities
• Work with the senior management of portfolio companies on creating value, and eventually preparing the firms for exit

Who we are looking for

• Strong academic results from a top-tier university
• Previous experience within investment banking, consulting or private equity
• Outstanding financial modelling skills and strong commercial judgement
• Team player with great communication skills and a hands-on attitude
• Native-level German and excellent English language skills are a must
