Trade Assistant - VBA

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to speak with technical candidates, with strong OTC knowledge, that have experience working within a Trade Assistant role. This is a busy team, the role will be split across inputting trades in the relevant Front Office Systems and helping drive change and automation within the Trade Support functions. We require strong technical skills in VBA or a programming language and demonstrated experience of automating processes. The role will largely cover Trade Input for IRD, Bonds and FX products, previous experience of working with VBA and Markitwire would be highly advantageous.

Further responsibilities include:

• Supporting the trade input and daily execution for trading and sales desk, products covered include IRD, Bonds, and FX
• Assist in addressing and resolving STP feed issues and finding creative ways to improve automation
• Identify and implement changes in team processes using a variety of tools (VBA, Python, Alteryx, Tableau)
• Working with stakeholders to Implement changes surrounding USD Libor Rate Reform
• Resolve P&L discrepancies
• Data analysis and presentation to relevant teams.
