This close knit, high performing team deploys both debt and equity into ethical Build to Rent investment opportunities that provide long term secure income streams to match pension holders liabilities.
We expect most of the following skill set to be demonstrated by the succesful candidate.
This is a career opportunity for someone who likes working in a collaborative environment but equally able to take on the full management of specific projects as required. Day to day responsiblity would include evaluation of investment opportunities, ongoing managerment of the master models, structuring of both debt and equity transactions, asessment of credit rating methodologies to debt financing trances and preparation of detailed proposals to credit /investment committees.
We see this role as the chance to broaden a skill set for someone who would like to move sector or a candidate with BTR expertise that has become silo'd in a large organision asset manger looking for opportunity to develop / or a change of culture.
We expect most of the following skill set to be demonstrated by the succesful candidate.
- Record of academic achievement
- Excellent early analytical training gained within rating agency/project finance/ structured private equity environment. (We are ideally looking for a blend of valuation/ structuring and rating expertise).
- Significant cash flow expertise ideally with a background in property related deals/investments but experience within associated sectors with similar methodologies will be favourably considered i.e broader project finance transactions. (Build to rent or Student accomodation exposure particularly favoured as likely to understand the rating methodologies of construction companies) .
- Experience in wrting good credit papers for investment purposes.
- Understanding of tax and equity structures.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skill.
