About this role

BlackRock Marketing is looking for a marketing and relationship manager to work alongside the Global Head of Ecosystem Marketing Partnerships to expand the value of co-marketing partnerships with key ETF and Index Investing ecosystem partners for iShares, BlackRock's ETF and Index Investing (EII) business. The role will manage day-to-day aspects of the relationships with an existing portfolio of partners, while working closely with the Global Head to identify and nurture new partnerships and coordinate teams across the organization in the development and execution of co-marketing plans that support iShares Global AUM growth goals.

Depending on the credentials of the candidate, the role with either be a VP or associate level position.

Responsibilities:

External Relationship Management
  • Responsible for day-to-day relationship management for EII ecosystem co-marketing partners to ensure relationships are run with operational rigor, transparency, and accountability
  • Develop annual co-marketing plan that incorporate strategic priorities by product segment, client segment and region to drive iShares' and partners' mutual objectives
  • Oversee execution of annual co-marketing efforts globally
  • Oversee collaboration between partners and regional marketing teams to develop and execute co-marketing strategies and activations
  • Bring an entrepreneurial spirt to pursue and nurture new co-marketing relationships to support EII strategic growth priorities


Business Management
  • Own the annual budget planning and allocation process, partnering with the regional marketing teams reviewing, adjusting, and tracking the budgets monthly
  • Manage and track the execution of the annual co-marketing plan in partnership with iShares Regional Marketing teams and Partner Marketing teams
  • Partner with regional marketing teams to define clear goals for all co-marketing activities
    • Ensure measurement methodologies are in place to track key performance indicators
    • Deploy budget to optimize efforts in local markets
    • Report on the progress against goals to both the partner and the EII business
  • Ensure the partnership marketing guidelines and best practices are up-to-date and socialized with the regional marketing teams


Collaboration with Internal Teams
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with regional marketing teams to ensure co-marketing plans are aligned with partnership priorities
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across client, product, and markets coverage teams in the US, EMEA, Lat Am and APAC regions


Knowledge/Experience:
  • 5-8 years of experience at an industry leading firm in product, marketing, or relationship management functions
  • Deep understanding of the investment management/ETF industry and client segments
  • Experience working in B2C, B2B and B2B2C marketing models and / or business development is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced university degree a plus
