LIM is seeking to hire an Equity Analyst with knowledge of different styles of investing to conduct quantitative and qualitative research of global equities. The analyst will generate investment recommendations, maintain and improve the team’s models, datasets, and decision rules, and be responsible for customized client reporting. The analyst will also be heavily involved with monitoring and maintaining monthly production and reporting processes. The position will report to the co-head of equities.
- Perform in-depth quantitative research on U.S., Developed and Emerging Market equities. Monitor and maintain production and reporting processes. Organize and interpret investment data to reach actionable conclusions. Update and refine models, processes, and risk management tools. Help with portfolio implementation and provide trading and operational support. Author white papers and other presentation materials. Gather and disseminate equity market information both internally and externally. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to investment, marketing, and operations teams.
- 3-5 years of quantitative equity research experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Solid work ethic, an intellectual curiosity and desire to learn, and the ability to operate effectively in a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial work environment. Must be highly proficient in FactSet, Excel, and other analytical systems.
- Bachelor’s degree required with progress towards a CFA or MBA/MSF a plus.
