Opportunity:
Cerity Partners is a leading registered investment advisor with 17 offices located from coast to coast and $50 billion in assets under management. We have a unique opportunity to work closely with one of our founding partners who currently manages over $1 billion in HNW and UHNW AUM for 60 families.
Responsibilities:
Investment Advisory (55%)
- Execute trades as directed
- Ensure client portfolios are within assigned investment policy statement guidelines
- Think proactively on behalf of prospects/clients to anticipate their needs
- Stay informed of market trends as communicated by our investment committee
- Generate recommendations for client investments within framework of firm philosophy and client investment policy statement
- Provide research support and due diligence towards security selection, manager utilization, and economic trends
- Assist in preparation of client communications related to investment process and outlook Handle client inquiries and participate in client meetings
Sales Support (15%)
- Work with Partner to develop strategies for winning new business
- Engage Cerity Partners sales team to build prospective client presentations
Operational Support (30%)
- Assistant in Compliance duties
- Help uncover inefficiencies in processes
- Work with various custodians to ensure client satisfaction
- Help facilitate various office-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum Experience 3+ years of investment experience
- Key Personal Attributes: High intellectual curiosity and strong attention to detail, an entrepreneurial drive, tireless work ethic, competitive winning spirit, emotionally mature with strong integrity
- Key Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, solid presentation skills, and understanding of investment competence across asset classes and strategies
- Ability to work well within a team
- College degree required; Progress toward MBA and/or CFA encouraged
