Analyst/ Junior Analyst - Emerging Technology Research

Job Description

By joining Uzabase as an Analyst/ Junior Analyst, you will gain a deep understanding of various industry dynamics on emerging industries, develop valuable analytical skills, and be exposed to industry report writing.

Your key responsibilities are to:
• Track news and write concise industry updates on emerging technologies for clients to stay up to date,
with limited supervision
• Carry out research to identify startups in emerging sectors and prepare company profiles
• Support senior analysts on the preparation of highly analytical reports on emerging technologies aimed
at supporting business and investment decisions

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in finance, economics, business or science/ mathematics (upper second or
higher from a top three local or a top 100 international university with a preference for First Class Honours)
OR
• Passed finalist of CIMA, ACCA or ACA (having completed all subjects in the first sitting)
• Preference will be given to candidates pursuing the CFA designation (completed Level I or Level II)
• Prior work experience (1-2 years) in investment or industry research is required for the Analyst position;
fresh graduates with a strong academic background will be considered for the Junior Analyst position
