Position Overview
The Internal Sales/Client Data Specialist will partner with Schroders' Institutional Directors to provide sales support activities by coordinating all data analytics/intelligence and pipeline deliverables for both current and prospective clients, and working closely with the Institutional Sales, Consultant Relations, and Client Services to anticipate and meet assigned deadlines.

  • Sales Channel analytics
  • Reporting
  • Become familiar with third-party data providers, vendors, and platforms

Sales Support
  • Develop a functional knowledge of Schroders' products
  • Work with client relationship management database (Salesforce) to track meetings, client information, etc.
  • Aid in cleansing and maintaining Salesforce data
  • Assist the team in achieving its goals, including asset retention and client satisfaction as well as increasing inflows, building new business and expanding product offerings with new opportunities.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-2 years prior data analytics experience, preferably within financial services
  • Strong background in database/spreadsheet management and/or programming/coding
  • Desire to succeed, self-starter with energy, enthusiasm and desire necessary to achieve goals in a consistent and timely manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and consistency across reporting is key
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple pieces of work at the same time in an often fast-paced environment
  • Analytical skills and ability to work with and interpret data
  • Able to work independently and collaborative effectively in team settings
  • Advanced Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas)
  • Knowledge of financial industry and products

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with or interest in learning relational databases (SQL) and data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Ability to quickly learn new programs and applications
  • Growing interest in the world of data and using data to drive actions
