The Opportunity:
Our client is a values driven organisation who are undergoing significant digital transformation.
Working as part of their Transformation Program Office and reporting to the Change Director, this role will lead and deliver on key communication activities including developing, managing, and implementing the communication strategy for multiple programs.
Specifically you will be responsible for:
- Creating communications materials (incl newsletters, articles and social media posts) which are fit-for-purpose, timely and meet business and member needs
- Partnering with project managers to collectively form a coordinated and effective communication and change management strategy that helps achieve project/s objectives.
- Delivering all required communications artefacts in line with the agreed framework.
- Developing and lead communication campaigns, creation of materials, test and measure effectiveness with key audiences
- Managing effective and regular program communications to all the relevant stakeholder groups
- Development of comms strategy across the portfolio, with input from the change and program teams
- Leading the development of artefacts, including packaged communication strategy, communication roadmaps both proactive and reactive for the portfolio.
About you:
You will be successful if you:
- Employ superior communication skills to successfully communicate up, down and across internal and external stakeholders to establish trust, build strong relationships and to influence others in a project matrix structure.
- 5 + years' experience in a similar role.
- Are comfortable working in an agile delivery environment, requiring flexibility.
- Proven stakeholder engagement skills and can manage expectations and drive outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills
- A proactive approach and ability to work autonomously
- Experience in delivering program wide change communications
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
