  • Managing tender processes for new EPC work packages and evaluating responses
  • Managing pre-construction negotiations with EPC suppliers (developing and reviewing Engineering Requirements/managing warranty terms/EPC terms) and generally driving the projects towards financial commitment by securing a suite of comprehensive construction contracts that deliver long term value for the asset.
  • Ensuring material issues and risks (WHSE, technical, commercial and programme related) across the portfolio are managed to optimize investment performance.
  • Co-ordination and budget responsibility for use of external suppliers
  • Managing the delivery of the projects in the construction phase ensuring projects are executed in accordance with best industry practice and achieve their stated goals (HSE, budget, programme, quality).
  • Reporting of project progress to senior management and escalation of any key issues (cost and HSES)
  • Reporting of overall energy storage pipeline status to senior management

You will ideally be a degree qualified engineer with a minimum of 5 years' working experience and having held project management roles on energy projects in various stages of the project lifecycle. You will be highly motivated, with a versatile personality and excellent interpersonal skills, ready for working in a fast-paced environment with pressing delivery dates while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. You will bring strong technical skills, a thorough understanding of complex energy projects and the ability to exchange with and understand subject experts, while having worked as a member of a large, multi-disciplinary and international team.

Your experience and knowledge of energy storage development and construction activities coupled with excellent project management credentials, will hold you in good stead to be successful in this role.
