Job Description:

The candidate will work alongside the existing IB team in Frankfurt as well as IB colleagues in China and globally. This is an important role in supporting the origination and execution of strategic transactions for our clients. Furthermore, an opportunity to develop key analytical, communications and marketing skills。

The job duties associated with this role include but will not be limited to:

• Execution-oriented. Assist in structuring and executing M&A and capital market transactions (e.g. IPOs and Debt issuance)

• Prepare client presentations, including pitching materials, management presentations, board materials, feasibility studies and others

• Support the preparation of transaction documents, including teasers, information memoranda, offering circulars and prospectuses

• Build financial models and undertake valuation of public and private companies/divisions or assets based on industry-standard methodologies (including discounted cash flow, comparable trading multiples, comparable transactions and other metrics)

• Conduct comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research, including analyzing business plans and performing due diligence work

• Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders in the transaction process

• Support senior bankers in developing and maintaining client relationships

Qualifications:

• Native or professional working proficiency in both English, Mandarin and one other European language (preferably German, French, Spanish or Italian)

• Relevant work experience in a reputable investment bank in Europe

• Bachelor's degree or above in relevant majors from universities

• Robust understanding of the Investment Banking business, products and services as well as the domestic and international capital markets

• Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting

• Highly motivated, committed and responsible, with a demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests and multi-task

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment

• High standards of professional and ethical conduct

• Excellent interpersonal skills, customer-oriented and an effective communicator

• Cultural sensitivity developed through international experience

• Passion and resilience for business development
