Our growing firm is seeking to add an Investment Specialist to participate in our growth and ensure we continue to provide a world-class experience to clients who expect and deserve the best. We need a team player who will own and execute the investment management process for client accounts, collaborate on investment strategy for our firm, and constantly strive for improvement. Opportunities will be available for leadership development and professional continuing education such as additional licensing and designations.

The successful candidate will be an analytical problem-solver who works independently, effectively, and efficiently; an experienced multi-tasker; a self-starter who adheres rigorously to regulations and assures that tasks are completed accurately and punctually; someone who enjoys interacting with clients and colleagues; a person who takes pride in their integrity, intelligence, and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing monitoring of market environment and current events
  • Effectively navigate propriety planning and investment related software tools
  • Deliver investment management including but not limited to investment proposals and managed account reviews
  • Create analytical reports for financial advisors to review client investment portfolio performances and market returns
  • Propose client investment account recommendations based on goals, risk tolerance, time horizon and objectives
  • Research portfolio recommendations
  • Tax loss harvesting
  • Making outbound calls to clients related to trading activities
  • Placing investment transactions (discretionary and non-discretionary)
  • Managing investment models
  • Rebalancing client investment accounts
  • Tax loss harvesting


Required Qualifications

  • Series 7, 63 & 65 or 66 or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree and three years' experience in investments or client service; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong initiative; professional appearance and presentation; expertise with trading technology.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base salary range $60,000-80,000, dependent upon experience
  • Annual bonus; paid time off; health, dental and vision insurance; 401(k) with 4% match
  • Upon completion of initial training, hybrid work structure available (approximately 3 days in the office, 2 days remote per week)
